Food Ingredient Division
We handle over 150 million pounds annually of ingredients that are used in a variety of food, pharmaceutical, and animal nutrition products. The division processes commodity items, such as starch and dextrose, as well as specialty products ranging from prebiotics to emerging plant-based goods.
ProSoyTM Division
Focused on environmental and cost-effective solutions, we engineer innovative applications for replacement of traditional chemicals as well new uses in emerging markets such as eco-friendly laminated products. ProSoy products are used in paperboard and fine paper coatings, water-based inks, recycled paperboard, animal pharmaceuticals, the agricultural sector, and more.
Our Operations
Located in the hub of the Midwest ingredient market, APS’s 225,000 SF former-General Mills plant offers tremendous infrastructure and operating capacity. Located on 20 acres, our facility includes a deep-water barge slip, interior rail car and bulk truck transfer, and 3,000,000 pounds of dry-bulk storage in our interior silo facility. APS’s processing work centers are built to the highest standards to ensure quality and optimal efficiency.
